Yes, we've all seen the pictures of your boyfriend's Halloween costume or whatever. Now we're discussing the degree to which Saves the Day kicks ass. I say to a ridiculous degree, though others may try and argue that the degree of ass they kick is merely insane.

All I've heard from Saves the Day, since In Reverie, have been two covers, so I'm not entirely confident that their new album will be as rocking as I'd like.

However, I'm sure I'll absolutely love Sound the Alarms.

I assume you already know that that's a cover of a Dead Boys song. It's a good cover though. And just to get it out of the way: I like Pearl Jam's version more.

I haven't heard enough from Saves the Day to makean educated opinion about them. I would give them a chance, however.

I love Saves the Day but I wasn't a big fan of In Reverie. I'll hold out hope for the new album though because they are one of my favorite live acts and would love to be excited to see them again.

Um...no, that wasn't what I was getting at, but anyway...yes, Saves the Day will be happy time for my earholes.

Oh man, I just saw a video of them playing one of their new songs live...

I want to shoot myself in the face on account of how incredible it was.

Everyone who doubted the album had better be prepared to lick an absurd amount of taint come January.

I love everything they've ever done.. Almost. I loved the genius pseudo-Lifetime-wannabe Saves The Day on Can't Slow Down, I loved the pop-punk masterpiece Through Being Cool, I enjoyed almost all of Stay What You Are minus a couple of seriously bad songs, I loved the grown-up songwriting genius of In Reverie.. But I just don't like that acoustic album. It sucks.

I can't wait for the new record. I don't think it will suck.

Stay What You Are absolutely blew me away. It stayed in my CD player and my car stereo for months and months. It's hard not to make a mix without including a song off of it. Through Being Cool is really good, their first album is good for being a Lifetime-style album. I was incredibly disappointed and bored by In Reverie, sorry. Their cover of Sonic Reducer is awesome, but I think that speaks more to how good the original song was and is.
