semi-Breakfast Serious band names plz

[gotmyphilosophy]

so i'm in a band with three other fellows. i play piano/sing/write and we have a guitarist/singer/writer a bassist and a drummer. we're playing at an Elliott Smith tribute show on the 20th of october. it'll be our first show and we had to quickly choose a band name because they're making flyers for the show and they needed a name. we thought of some names that one or more people decided were too "this" or too "that."

anyway, we ended up with the temporary band name, "Sequitur," based on the fact that we hated it the least, but we're not really all too pleased with it and are in the market for a new name.

i'm requesting the members of this forum to contribute in two ways:

way the first: Breakfast Serious to semi-Breakfast Serious band names that to the best of your knowledge hasn't been taken by some other band already.

way the second: funny joke band names, because i know that there will be a lot of those thrown in anyway.

please differentiate between the (semi)Breakfast Serious names and joke names.

I always wanted to call a band Big Sandwich. Or Giant Hoagie.

After the Elian Gonzalez debacle I came up with Tiny Cuban Boy, Janet Reno's Worst Nightmare, and the Miami Relatives.

Another personal favorite, inspired by the MST3K movie: The Amazing Technicolor Cheese Wedge.

I suppose these band names are why I am not in a band.

regarding our style: though we're playing an elliott smith show, our vibe for our own stuff isn't quite as sad and mournful. i'd say the range is between piano pop/rock to just regular indie rock sound/volume. dismemberment plan is a common favorite between most of us, though we've made no attempt to sound like them. i hope this helps.

Giant Hoagie is too comical, but the Fibonacci Sequence walks that fine line between being a pretentious reference and being inexplicable in how it applies to the band itself. The Fibonacci Sequence is thus far the best suggestion.
