I just got into cream.

I also recently refound Homegrown. It's dorky bad pop punk, but it reminds me of being young so I like it.

I believe she's already made clear that the "cream" she's into is of the "salad" variety.

Sia

My local indie station has been playing her song "Breathe Me" lately...

It makes me want to get on writing a screenplay so that I can write the scene where this song is playing on the soundtrack. I've only listened to the other two songs that are on her MySpace, and I like them but not nearly as much as this one song.[/url]

I like Indie 103.1 but my only problem with Indie music is that I can't sing along to it and I sing along to everything. Which is why I just listen to the CDs in my car because radio stations in LA suck now, have you noticed that, DJ Jazzy Jeff? I'm so mad they got rid of Arrow 93.1, that was my favorite station.

Arrow was great, I must say.

I like Indie from time to time when I feel like my current music rotation's been getting stale. But I'm the type of person who, halfway through a song I've never heard before, will already be singing along to it. If I'm alone, of course.

For long trips though (over an hour), which I make every couple of weeks generally, I use the ol' iPod tape converter, too.

I'm on a roll because in the last few days I have discovered the Flaming Lips,
The Vaselines, and Pixies. I also got into Meat Puppets recently.

I streamed the "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" album in its entirety on the Flaming Lips site. Pretty cool.

For a second there, I wondered why you hadn't heard of the Pixies. Then I remembered that you've just moved up from Raffi and Sharon, Lois and Bram.

I reccomend the albums Surfer Rosa and Come on Pilgrim.

I've always had a slight interest in Bob Dylan based on a few really excellent songs, but I just recently got a little more of his material. He is good at music.

I've heard of Pixies before (no "the", just Pixies), but I didn't check them out until recently.

In other news, I just had to look up on Wikipedia who Raffi and Sharon, Lois and Bram were.

She forgot that you were four years old. Replace "Raffi" with "Digimon" and "Sharon Lois and Bram" with Britney Spears and two backup dancers.

My favorite band is Beatles!

To be fair to him, almost nobody says just "Pixies" because it's so awkward and ungrammatical, but officially, there is no "the."

My favorite album of theirs is Trompe Le Monde, so get it, shithead.

When I was four years old, my favorite shows actually consisted of The Brady Bunch, The Nanny, and The Wonder Years, which all started with the word "the", whereas Pixies does not.

Anyways...I wasn't trying to be a prick about the official name or anything, just pointing it out. Thanks for the album recommendations.

I was just made aware of the band Moog Cookbook wherein Spacemen cover old 90's rock or classic rock songs. It is adorable.

Keep It Like A Secret is a pretty perfect album.
