Neutral Milk Hotel is awesome. They should team up with the Decemberists and be unstoppable. They are two halves of a delicious, nougat-filled whole.
Too bad Jeff Mangum went fucking nuts after that album came out and only emerges from his cave in Athens, Georgia to record traditional Bulgarian music now. Fer Breakfast Serious.

I've never given this "ten favorite albums" thing a thought. I'm gonna go with Justin's theme from the first page and list the ten that overall describe my musical taste and where it came from.
