He was on TV this morning & one of the guys I work with yells "Why the FUCK is the Phanatic red?"
Here, it's for the Phillies' "Paint the Town Red" charity week leading up to opening day. They dunked the Phanatic in a big fake can that was supposed to be filled with red paint so that he could show his "true Phillies colors."
He'll be back to normal by opening day, but still. That is NOT right. Stick it in an oil barrel with those blue alternate hats from 1994 & throw it all into a volcano.

Anyway, I honestly had to look at that picture three times before I noticed the Phanatic was red. Being a Cardinals fan and seeing Fredbird all the time, I guess I'm just used to the red, I dunno.
