Seriously though, if I ever quit the Dugout it will be because my joy for writing it will be overcome by the terrible reality that slash fiction writers enjoy the Dugout for the same reasons they enjoy writing slash fiction. I'm really grateful to our readers and am generally opposed to deriding people for appreciating what I do for the "wrong" reasons, but that kind of stuff just burns my cock.
