I dont listen to a lot of Top 40 (nothing personal) but I loved that S.O.S. song by Rihanna (I had to google it to find out it was her). It's 80% the Soft Cell cover and 20% that she sounds sexy but I never turned the station when that song came on...which was pretty damn frequently.

I actually liked the Paris Hilton song "Nothing In This World" but the rest of the album blew pretty awful. Also, I was disappointed by the Justin Timberlake record because most of the parts that I liked ended up being little "interlude" snippets in between songs, rather than full-fledged songs. After making Justified, this was kind of a disappointment, and I normally think Timbaland is pretty good.
*tries to think what else* Gnarls Barkley? does that count? They were on the charts this summer, right? I'm going to assume that the Jay-Z album will do fairly well, and I've heard that already and like it a lot.

Quite possibly the worst thing I can admit thus far is that I still enjoy listening to "Too Little Too Late" by JoJo. I just respect that she can actually sing really, really well. And yeah, I of course see the irony in a fifteen year-old girl singing a song called "Too Little Too Late."

Gnarls Barkley kicks fucking ass. I kinda felt like a douche buying the album just cause it was so popular and I don't normally enjoy things that are big, at least not while they are still initially big. But, I did. Awesome album.
AFI on the otherhand can fuck right off and die. I feel like the only man in the world aware that they are a complete parody of their former selves only more bland, while everyone proclaims how fucking cool they are now and that this is their best album ever.
I dunno. I think the general public just enjoys boring fucking music typically found on top 40 for reasons we shall never understand.

Apparently every other MCR album is good. "I Brought You My Bullets..." was pretty awesome, "Three Cheers..." was utter shit, and now "The Black Parade" kicks ass. Make up your mind, My Chemical Romance. You're making it hard to hate you.
At least the lead singer's hair looks stupid.

Well I guess if you put it that way.
Two favorite facts about Hinder:
1) Their CD is named Extreme Behavior, which always makes me picture those asshole skater punks in Harold & Kumar listening to it
2) I have a friend who works in a record store who swears that people who buy this CD don't understand basic genre/alphabetical order and always ask him how to find it. The only other people who generally do this, he says, are Nickelback fans.
