Plot summary: Jonny Quest was raised by his father, Dr. Benton Quest, and his mother, Race Bannon. Race's inability to provide Jonny with breast milk as an infant resulted in Jonny's stunted growth and poor vision in later years, as exhibited by Jonny's constant desire to want to "take a closer look". Race traveled with the Quest team to serve as both their personal bodyguard and reason to question Dr. Quest's sexuality. (more)

Race Bannon is the white-haired angel that seemed to appear to Dr. Quest as his loved ones
passed away. Unfortunately, the white hair led to complications resulting in Steve Martin
syndrome, and Bannon spent the rest of his days wearing an uncomfortable grimace as he
watched Queen Latifah teach Jonny how to say "doub-le-D-cup".
Race Bannon had one of the coolest names in history. The trick to having a cool name is
having a first name of Race or Chase, or some variant, followed by a normal-sounding last
name. I'm going to change my name to Pursuit Jones, or maybe Discreetly Following Smith.
Also, Race Bannon is what you're doing when you want to get rid of all the black people in
your forum.
