Tagline: "Not that I loved Caesar less,
but that I loved Rome more." (Act III, Scene II)
Plot summary: Have
you ever seen "The Honeymooners?" Or "The
Flintstones?" Or "The Jetsons?" Or
"Wait 'Till Your Father Gets Home?" Or
"These Are the Days?" Hey, check it out, the
farther I stretch the joke out the more obscure the
television show becomes. OR "THE ROMAN
HOLIDAYS?" There we go, that's obscure enough. This
show was a lot like that one. (more)

Comments: Gus Holiday (probably after being
taken by Madonna) was a working, middle-class family man
who as far as I know never took place in any
fiddle-playing or giant orgies, making him quite possibly
the most boring Roman ever imagined. He is, however,
dressed as we imagine the Romans to be dressed, which is
points in the WIN column over his peers, because cavemen
never wore ties and NO GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT
GREAT GRANDAUGHTER OF MINE IS GOING TO LISTEN TO ANY OF
THAT EEP OPP ORK AH AH BULLSHIT.
Nobody
really remembers the "Roman Holidays" but me,
which is sad because it ruled so hard thy shant believe
how hard it ruled. The theme song was even cooler. "When in Rome, you do as the
Romans do, you play as the Romans play together!"
Although I guess if they were already Romans they're
doing as tourists to Rome should observe and do as well.
Ho ho, 63 AD observational humor! Hey, do you think in
ROME they call "French Fries" GAUL FRIES? And
what's the deal with Chariot Food? I'd rather eat a
Christian!
Don't let Mel Gibson fool
you, it wasn't the Jews that killed Jesus, it was the
Romans.
Roman Jews.
Jews.
