PlayStation 2 » Reviews » Review The IGN Template
November 23, 2025 - Well, here it is. Sorry,
I couldn't figure out a way to get the borders looking good without fucking
up the whole page. But at least this is something, though not much. I'm not sure what you have in mind for your article, but there's a chance that this might serve your purpose. Yeah, it's not quite a replica of IGN, but perhaps it's good enough to be apparent that you're doing a parody. The first thing I tried was just to save the pics to our server and change the filepaths from IGN's site to ours. For some reason I can't understand, this isn't working, which frustrates the hell out of me. Oh well. I didn't do anything special for that top border; I just used the old CTRL+ALT+PRINTSCREEN trick to copy and save it as a JPG. You could do the same thing on the ad page with ease, I think. I'm pissed off that I couldn't get this together for you the way I hoped I would, but at least I accomplished something, maybe. You know, I'm just playing devil's advocate here, and I know you didn't want to do this, but what if we just saved their page as-is and kept the pic URLs intact so that we wouldn't have to worry about moving everything to our server? Boiskov would probably do that, but then again Boiskov is a sneaky fucking Russian. In any case, best of luck, man. -Jon. |
