CalJr2131:  I can't believe Chuck Thompson died.  He had one of the most recognizable voices in sports.  He was a good man.  He was with us here in our town for as long as I can remember.
WillUMurrayMe:  He was as much a part of the fabric and history of Orioles baseball as the players on the field.
boog_operator:  He made me feel like I was part of his family.
BallparkFrank:  I still remember when he called Bill Mazeroski's World-Series winning home run in sixty.
Human_Vacuum:  He was just a voice coming out of this box in your car, or in your home, and now he's just...gone.  Fifty years he called games.  Fifty years of hearing him smile.   I hope he's okay.
CalJr2131:  There are too many memories to count.  I know he's okay.  He has to be.  No matter where we go when it's done, nobody would let Chuck Thompson suffer.  I can't even imagine it.  Goodbye, old friend.   We'll miss you.
