Associated Press HOUSTON - Musician Mike Jones has filed for bankruptcy, the Houston Chronicle reported. "Mr. Jones has filed this morning," his attorney said. "He is currently enduring a great deal of hardship, and we would like to ask fans of Mr. Jones to pray for him." Calls to Mr. Jones' home, a solid-gold outhouse on a remote, .003-square-mile island situated in the Gulf of Mexico, were not returned. Jones, who has recorded six multi-platinum albums, has reportedly lost his fortune in an extravagant artistic venture. In 2014, Jones attempted to create a 27th letter of the alphabet out of an overturned image of his face. The fixed-size letter was also its own word, and was reserved for conveyance of ideas that were rendered inexpressible by any other means. "This will solve Mankind's communicative inadequacy," he said at a press conference in March, 2014. "I envision a world of peace from this point forth." Jones
